ENERGY WISELY AND SECURE THEIR LANDS FROM

Arewa Youths press briefing on eviction of igbos as from October first 2017(kaduna declaration ) |
The Hausa/Fulani youths have
continued to rant against the clamor for the restoration of the sovereign state
of Biafra and slandering the leader of IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. The latest is
the protest in Abuja calling for the re-arrest and killing of Nnamdi Kanu and
they were protected and guarded by the police during the protest. That same day
in Abuja, Charles Oputa aka Charly Boy and his group of “Our Mumu Done Do” were
confined to the Unity Fountain Park, beaten and harassed by the police.
Boko haram terrorist in north east nigeria |
Not forgetting that Biafrans have continually
been killed during peaceful demonstrations. Such hypocrisy! Anyway, that is not
what I want to talk about at the moment but that of the Arewa youths who are
ignoring their terrorists’ kinsmen, BokoHaram and Fulani herdsmen that are
running amok causing death and destruction.
The situation in the north region is worst
than in any part of the contraption called Nigeria even with the bulk of the
country’s revenue going into the region. The north region of Nigeria holds the
record of producing presidents and head of parastatals in the country but there
is continuous increase in illiteracy, diseases, poverty, hunger, terrorism and
other vices in the region. Sensibly, the Arewa
youths should be concerned about
lives and properties in their region but their priority has been misplaced and
focused on the people of Biafra seeking the right to self-determination as enshrined
in the United Nations Charter.
Still not satisfy with the quit
notice issued to Biafrans in the north region to vacate before October 1st ,
the Hausa/Fulani youths are still tensed over the decision of the people of
Biafra to opt out of the forced union orchestrated by Fredrick Lugard.
Unenlightened, the Arewa youths are more concerned about the survival of the
contraption instead of seeking ways for the development and survival of their
people.
Arewa youths protest against Kanu |
Arewa youths should worry about
the widespread of the deadly meningitis disease in the north region which is
more threatening than the right to self-determination by the people of Biafra.
The Hausa/Fulani youths are more concerned about Nnamdi Kanu while playing
blind to the recent Boko Haram ambush on an oil survey team in the region that
left more than 50 people dead.
The continuous increase of refugee
camps in the north region and encroaching into neighboring countries should be
an utmost concern to every sane mind in the north region of Nigeria. Just like
their grandparents and parents, the Hausa/Fulani youths are frightened by the
demand for referendum by the people of Biafra. They are even more concerned
over the plans for the boycott of Nigeria elections by Biafrans than the
affected politicians in Biafra land. I plead with the bandits called Arewa
youths to go ahead with the threat of making formal complaints to international
bodies against the Indigenous people of Biafra as this will enable IPOB to be
vindicated as always. Those willing stooges for terrorism have never uttered
any statement in condemnation of Boko Haram and Fulani herdsmen but have been
gallivanting across the country seeking ways to disrupt the struggle for the
restoration of Biafra.
The mass resignation of lecturers
from the University of Maiduguri, Borno State due to incessant Boko Haram
attacks should bother the Hausa/ Fulani youths. IPOB led by Nnamdi Kanu have
been peaceful and diplomatic in the struggle for the restoration of Biafra and
should be left alone. The demented Arewa youths wants IPOB to be designated as
a terrorist group but will not speak about the Amnesty International report
which indicted the Nigeria security forces for extra judicial violence and
killing against innocent Biafrans. The Hausa/Fulani youths can continue to
hobnob with the likes of Orji Uzor Kalu and other self-serving political and
religious leaders from Biafra land but that will not deter the collective
decision of the people of Biafra to either restore Biafra or die trying.
